NOVAMENTE is an IPSS created by parents, doctors and friends of Traumatised Brain Injured people, which was set up with the aim of providing better support for TBI victims and their families. Traumatic Brain Injury represents for many a hard struggle, especially for those who have survived the trauma and for their families. Accepting a new reality is not always easy, and there are many difficulties at all levels. NOVAMENTE started by believing and it was with this spirit that we began a new project: believing that, in spite of everything, there is a NEW chance of life. Its mission is to support the victims of brain injury and their families. How? By informing relatives about the existing structures and rights and by ensuring that they are connected when necessary, allowing access to support. Proposing to the authorities the improvement of structures where gaps or needs are identified. Acting in the area of prevention and family liaison. Collecting statistical data about traumas. Cooperating with entities in areas that address the this topic.
